Pro loco Zumellese

The Pro Loco Zumellese Association, a voluntary body open to anyone wishing to join, operates within the municipal territory and has as its aim the promotion and cultural-touristic enhancement of the area, as well as the safeguarding of the historical heritage of local traditions and the development of the social fabric. Many choices have been made and initiatives proposed by the various Councils, always with the aim of enhancing the territory both internally and externally, and creating a bond among the inhabitants of Zumelle. Various events have been organized and restored: for cultural growth, painting exhibitions, publications, slideshow evenings; others related to shows and entertainment such as concerts in the square, festivals, film projection evenings, and collectors’ exhibitions; for tourism promotion thanks to events such as Mele a Mel and Radicele. The path of the Pro Loco Zumellese has always been varied and open to new ideas capable of animating the town and making it known not only to the Zumellesi but also externally, thanks to a continuous enhancement and promotion of the beautiful territory and the interesting historical background concerning the Municipality of Mel.
