Apidolomiti represents the excellence, tradition and uniqueness of Belluno beekeeping since 1975

Founded as an association represents the historic union of beekeepers operating in the province of Belluno. Today Apidolomiti is a Cooperative Society that continues to serve beekeepers to whom it provides assistance, materials, tools and training. In this reality the main objectives that the members share are the attention to the health of the bee and the guarantee of quality of the productions. Apidolomiti has been present since 1980 at all major agricultural events such as Agrimont, the Exhibition of agricultural products of Sedico and Limana Country of Honey of which it is one of the organizers. Honey is a characteristic product of our valleys and Apidolomiti has always supported the work of beekeepers to protect bees and hive production. This is why he has been working for years on the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) "Miele delle Dolomiti Bellunesi", an important objective that sees this group of beekeepers committed to the benefit of the entire community. This mark was found in the labels of the Association since its origins but today it has become a protected designation of origin recognized by the European Union. Thanks to a strict production disciplinary and the control plan, the Beekeepers adhering to the P.D.O. offer tourists certified quality products with an extraordinary assortment of flavors, scents and colors. With its more than 600 members, it is gaining a role of absolute importance in the chain of cooperatives in the food sector of Veneto and beyond, obtaining and promoting the recognition of the P.O.D. label for "Miele delle Dolomiti Bellunesi". The attention to the protection of the territory through a beekeeping aware of the fundamental role it plays for the biodiversity of the Dolomites, is a feature that can be found in this honey, unique in every jar.
