The Croce d’Aune-Rifugio Dal Piaz itinerary winds through the Vette Feltrine, one of the most important mountain ranges in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. From the Croce d’Aune parking lot (Sovramonte), take an uphill paved road that soon transforms into a mule path. From here, follow the signs to the Rifugio Dal Piaz. The road leading to the refuge is a military road, closed to traffic and moderately steep. Continue uphill along the mountainside, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Feltre and its valley. The refuge can be seen in the distance.
