Borgo Valbelluna Safe Walking APS is a non-profit association, formally founded in 2023 after three years of spontaneous activities that began in 2020

What it does: main activities • Group walks   • Organizes evening outings with headlamps and reflective vests, afternoon walks, Sunday hikes, and trips within and outside the province. • Evening walks (8:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.) have become a true community ritual. Well-being and socialization   Fosters gathering, combats isolation, and creates networks of mutual support. The walk is seen as a psychophysical and relational tool, allowing everyone to discover the territory in a guided way. Enhancement of the territory   Promotes itineraries in Valbelluna and the Dolomites. Many paths are shown to those who do not know them, making the walk also a cultural and tourist experience. Collaborates with other local associations: Frammenti d’Arte for visits to churches, Gruppo Natura, Gruppo Teatrale Zumellese for Literary Walks, and Associazione Mele a Mel, as well as with local businesses. Events and initiatives   Participates in & organizes festivals (Camminando Festival), thematic evenings, participatory walks, and co-design projects with local entities (e.g., GAL Prealpi and Dolomiti). Charity walks, etc. Social and sustainable tourism   The association integrates walking with local tastings, trips, recreational-motor activities, and themed holidays.
