The Locanda De Conti, family-run since the first half of the '900, is located in Marcador, a fraction of the municipality of Mel, a charming little village in the Val Belluna (BL). It is close to the ancient Via Claudia Augusta, a Roman road that, according to the historian Arch. Alberto Alpago Novello, started from Quarto d'Altino, passed through Follina, crossed the Prealps by going over the Passo di Praderadego, descended towards the Castle of Zumelle, arrived in the area of Nave where it crossed the Piave River to reach Cesiomaggiore, skirted Feltre, and then headed towards Trentino. The Locanda has 5 rooms: two double rooms each with a private bathroom, two adjacent rooms with a shared bathroom, and the possibility for larger families to use a third room.
